Natas 101 Devil Board

I found this gem on eBay this morning with a buy it now price of $5000. This was what the description said.
"Natas Kaupas 101 devil worship art done by Marc Mckee, one of the holy grails in skateboarding, these are rare in any condition let alone near mint. Only a hand full exist and the collectors that have them will never sell. Board is NOS (new old stock) never set up or gripped and no touch ups of any kind, this same board sold in 2004 for $5366.69 and is listed on AOS and in disposable. Good luck and check out my other auctions".

Geek fact:
This board was supposed to be a Jason Lee pro model. Rocco apparently offered him a shit load of $ for him to accept this as his board, but in the end he turned it down for personal reasons.

This is a painting by Dave Kinsey I got more than a couple years back. It was in the same room in my house that the ceiling collapsed. It got damaged but from a few feet away you can't really tell. Guess I'm lucky I still have it at all.

Smut Villain

I put together this album cover for my good friend Smut Villain this morning. Anyone recognize the chair he's sitting in. It's the real one.

New Sticker

Fish Mcgill

On Thursday I meet up with Fish and Sheryl to help them put these posters up at Harpers Ferry for Paper. Had a great time and even got solicited by some creepy prostitutes on the walk home. All in all a pretty fun night.

This is a logo I'm working on for a restaurant in Cambridge.

Selections from Boards

These are some pages from the book "Boards: The Art and Design of the Skateboard ". The book itself is no Disposable but it's alright. These are my favorite pages. The Chocolate Fireworks series by Evan Hecox and the Zoo York Jest Series by Eli M. Gesner.

Dead Heat

I got a email from an old buddy yesterday asking for a logo for his softball team. He said he wanted something just like the Fast Life logo I did a while back. This is what I came up with for him.

I couldn't think of anything to draw this afternoon so I googled the word cool. This was what I found.

Blaine Fontana

Selections from Blaine Fontana's Book Sedimental Promises.

I have been really busy lately and have had no real time to work on anything. This is something I drew a couple weeks ago.

This is some of Peat's work. There is a very good chance that we are doing a show in Boston in September. Do yourself a favor and check out more of his work here http://stensoul.blogspot.com/ .

Doze Green

These are photos from Doze Green's show N.O.O.N. at the Jonathon Levine gallery. I think it opened in October. I didn't go but the dude I stole these photos from seemed to have a good time.

Sticker inspired by The Last Dragon. I hate the type. We will have to wait and see if it ever gets made.

KR - It's all in my head

While going through boxes yesterday I came across this KR book "KR - It's all in my head". I got this from Turntable Lab and was super excited to see it was signed when I opened it. These are some of my favorite pages from it.

Jason Jesse

I always loved this skateboard graphic. They have an original one of these hanging at a Mexican restaurant called No Problemo in New Bedford, MA. If your in that neighborhood check it out and pick up some incredible food while your at it.

Bones Brigade!

I found these old Powell board specks today online. I think they are from a old Powell catalog, but I'm not sure.

Thank You

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped us out or offered their help to us in our time of need. It helped us out a lot to see all the support that was offered to us. I am going to start posting art work again on my next post. I need to get back to doing normal things again.
Thank you everyone!

Thank You Peel

I wanted to say thank you to Dave and Holly over at Peel Magazine for every thing they are doing for me. This is taken from their new website. Thank you so much guys.

This past weekend our long time friend and supporter Evoker lost his apartment to a fire. Everyone was OK, but a lot of his stuff was fire/smoke/water damaged, and he now has to find a new place to live. Evoker has been a friend of PEEL for several years and has been a pioneer in the sticker art community with his Urban Wallpaper project. His online gallery of stickers helped to gain exposure and recognition for the artform long before there were books dedicated to the medium of stickers. His efforts have assisted countless street artists to distribute their stickers all over the world through his sticker exchange. Back in the day exchanging our ban comic sans stickers through his Urban Wallpaper site (as well as a few others) inspired us to start PEELzine. He’s also a talented and dedicated artist and a great guy. We are grateful for the pioneering work he’s done to build the sticker art community and we would like to do what we can to support him in this difficult time. Through the month of March all sales from our online shop will be donated to Evoker to help him rebuild. If you would like to donate a piece of work, packs of stickers, etc. to be sold on the site with all proceeds going to Evoker, please send to the address below and include a note that it’s for Evoker. We’ll have a special gift (to be announced) for someone who donates work to support Evoker.

More Fire Photos

Still looking for a new place, seems like we may have found one.
